Terms and Conditions for Private Coaching Sessions
1. Introduction Welcome to Seattle Voice Academy These terms and conditions govern the provision of private coaching sessions offered online. By booking or participating in a session, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
2. Scope of Services Private coaching sessions are designed to provide personalized guidance and support in vocal health, singing, public speaking and voiceover. Sessions are conducted online via Zoom.
3. Booking and Payment
- Booking: Sessions must be booked through https://acuityscheduling.com/
- Payment: Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
- Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
4. Rescheduling and Cancellations
- Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule sessions with at least 24 hours’ notice. Rescheduling requests made less than 23 hours in advance may not be accommodated.
- Cancellations:
- Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice will receive a full refund or credit toward a future session.
- Cancellations made with less than 23 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
- No-shows are non-refundable.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Preparation: Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary equipment (e.g., computer, stable internet connection) for online sessions.
- Participation: Active participation and engagement are essential for the success of the coaching.
- Punctuality: Clients should arrive on time for their sessions. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time without a refund.
6. Coach Responsibilities
- Professional Conduct: The coach will provide a supportive and respectful environment.
- Preparation: The coach will prepare personalized content tailored to the client’s goals.
- Confidentiality: All information shared during sessions will be treated as confidential, except as required by law.
7. Intellectual Property All materials provided during sessions are the intellectual property of Seattle Voice Academy and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability While the coach strives to provide valuable guidance, results may vary. Seattle Voice Academy is not liable for any outcomes or decisions made based on coaching sessions.
9. Termination Seattle Voice Academy reserves the right to terminate the coaching relationship if the client violates these terms or engages in inappropriate behavior. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
10. Governing Law These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Washington State. Any disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Washington State.
11. Amendments Seattle Voice Academy reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.
