What are my first steps if I want to be a Voice Actor?

The first step for most folks is taking a beginning level course! That way you have an idea of what you are getting into. No need for fancy equipment yet! Just you, your computer and the desire to learn and play!

The second step is to determine the type of VO you like to do. Then take a level 2 course in that specialty. Really dive deep into those techniques. At this point — we recommend you buy a mic/headphones and start thinking about your home studio. It’s not required, but recommended.

The third step is private coaching/mentorship/demos. And that’s more like 3-10 steps. Everyone is different. We make a plan that’s right for YOU. When you are ready for demos, we can help with making them or getting you to the right people. We don’t want you to rush into a demo too soon. This is a common mistake. And it’s costly to have to redo your demos.
